How to Join the Sons of Confederate Veterans
Notice to all considering membership
To be considered for membership all applicants must provide a lineal or collateral family connection to a member of the Confederate States of America's Armed Forces or state militia member who served during the U.S. Civil War. Any person who advocates for or supports the overthrow or a rebellion against the United States of America and/or the Government is automatically disqualified from membership. Any person who advocates for or supports prejudice or bigotry in any form, written, expressed, or implied is disqualified from membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans and all Camps, including the St. Johns Rangers, that are governed by the General Headquarters and its Constitution. (Article II, Sec 2, SCV Constitution)
